OK, this is just an ad, and for long-time readers/fans/foes, this is nothing new. But we’ll not let the young’uns know that.

Please check out a small collection of my photos on Orkut’s media gallery.

Praise and such most welcome.

This is a printer-friendly version of the journal entry “A collection of sorts” from actuality.log. Visit http://emphaticallystatic.org/earlier/a-collection-of-sorts/ to read the original entry and follow any responses to it.

Not on the photo log. I cheated with this gallery (as I do when the number of potential viewers > 10^5). They are all noise reduced, sharpened, contrast and saturation improved variants of my photos. All processing is done in the GIMP through simple scheme scripts I’ve evolved over the years.

For e.g., compare Blue Tranquility from the photolog and the same on this gallery side by side. You’ll see the difference introduced due to post processing.

BTW, do you use some software to post process your pics to accentuate the colours? I mean, the colours are really bright in some pictures, almost glowing..
