I’ve been chuckling to the thought of this ever since I observed it during lunch.
Making out the entire time, this guy and girl had finally inched their way to the cash register of the crowded fast-food place. The woman behind the counter politely interrupts them, requesting them to pay-up for their food and proceeds to wait patiently. After some effort, the two finally get their tongues out of the other’s throat, and then is when it happens.
They step back, meticulously itemise who ordered what, and settle their respective tabs separately.
Upon completing the transaction, their faces get stuck together again.
He: The Ham is so nice honey
She: Yeah, I like the cheese better
LOL! Eating from the other’s mouth!
I’m not certain whether I should say “Ewww,” or what I really want to.
I used to find it strange initially, and then amusing, to see couples kissing, for any reason or no reason at all when they were together all the time. If there was a “kiss counter” for a couple, it would surely have broken down in your part of the world :D
Are you saying that kissing is overrated? :)
Yeah, it is. One of the most interesting things to see was when couples “kiss” each other at the stroke of midnight on new year’s day, especially at Times Square!! I’ve heard from someone that in the UK, perhaps London, one not necessarily has to be a couple on the new year’s eve, can kiss any one (other gender, i suppose) at someplace where they welcome new year!
If this journal didn’t have a primarily female audience, I could have commented on the the overrated-ness (or not) of kissing. But alas.
