  1. (I haven’t ever done this before — be the first person to leave a comment on my own picture that is. In hindsight, it is clear I should have created a mechanism by which I could leave a note describing or clarifying something about a picture if I so wanted. But hindsight is always 20/20 and I don’t have such a mechanism in place. So here is where my little spiel will go.)

Ladies and gents, I have peaked.

This picture is the one I am most proud of in this recent set. It was taken just instants after I shot this. Everything so far was building upto this moment, and I’ve been literally having my hands bound so I didn’t post this too hurriedly.

Sadly, for you, this just means it’s all downhill from here.

Enjoy while you can though, and thanks for being here.

  2. My trusty old Olympus Camedia C-5050 zoom camera.

I had (and still have) serious sensor dust issues with the EOS 20D, so reverted back to the Olympus for a while. Magically, my love for taking pictures returned, and I would say the quality of my pictures are improving again.

And, not to get too geeky, but I mostly leave the EXIF data on the images (unless I have something to hide). So, if you’re on Windows say, you right click the image and save it somewhere. You then right click the image on your hard drive -> properties -> summary -> advanced. This will show you most information pertinent to the picture, one of which being the camera used.

  3. Pundit. Already blogged about it, Take a look at my site then! By the way, how did you write this special skin for wordpress? I love it. Just a suggestion, can you add a drop down menu or whatever for your archives for easier navigation? :) Keep up!

  4. THANK YOU. That was such an excellent suggestion! I’ve spent months trying to introduce an archive system that wasn’t too cluttered. I’ve added a list now. It isn’t perfect, but I will fix it in time.

Also, I am writing up a small document on how I made the skin, I will link to it once I am done.

  5. nice !! i think people shud considering seeing Scotland through your pundits or rather thru your lens :).
